Boss #4 -The Griffin

                                                   Boss #4 The Griffon



The griffin is the fourth boss of Prince of Persia Warrior Within and you will encounter him in the Sacred Caves being as the Sandwraith after the prince finds up the mask of the Wraith.
The griffin is one of the easiest bosses in the game if you know tactics during the fight.
I will now explain about,at final add a picture with it (just as a lookalike) and write about the encounter.


About - This kind of beast is a Sand Griffon found on the Island of Time during the Sandwraith path back to  the Throne Room.
Rumor speaks of an mythical,ancient beast that lives beneath the Island of Time,but no one knows if was lured here or simply lived to the island prior of the Empress of Time arrival.
It is charged with the duty to guard the island moste valuable artefacts.
This great winged creature is able for swift flight,dodge all conventional attacks and as a weapon against the enemies the powerul beak,a sperpentine tail and razor-sharp talons can be included.
According to a legend,it says to be hundreds or thousands years old,having an abillity to regenerate itself over time fast (it is all hearsay) or that there could be more griffons on the island,and this is just the beginning of them...
Since,no one lived to face the griffin and tell about too much....shall the prince be the first one??

Encounter - As you are a Sandwraith this wil make the encounter to be the easiest in this game.
As your sand tanks are properly unlimited (because they regenerate over time) you will find this useful slowing down the time or using a ground attack like Wind of Fate.
When the griffin lands on the platform go toward the beast and then use Eye of the Storn abillity slowing down the time (just tap R) and then damage the griffin as hard as you can.
It is important to know that you will NOT stay in front of it or behind (you will get hit hard by the claw and knocked down by the tail).You can also use Cyclone of Fate ability (while blocking with mouse2 press R) for a quickly finish.
So,with all these you will damage at his feet and not at his head.
There will be 2 times or 3 when it will try to knock you down flying.What do you have to do?
Extremly simple - When the beast approaches the platform,move toward it and then crouch.Do that every time during on the air assault then,when it lands agains you can continue to destroy it.

THE END

Boss #1 -Shahdee

                                                                                                                                             

Known as a girl in black,and in the most part nude,Shahdee is a servant of the Empress of Time,you will meet her at the beginning of the game when she will assault the ship of prince during a terrible storm with a crew of sand Raiders (At last I will add a picture with her.just a lookalike)

          About - Shahdee is a strong warrior that serves the Empress of Time,known with the name Kaileena,and was charged with the  mission to stop the prince from reaching the island,engaging him at sea and kill him with the crew. As the Raiders failes to stop the prince,she will fight against the prince (here you will have your battle against the first boss,but you will not defeat her on the ship) throwing his weapon and making his way faster on the Island of Time.So,as Shahdee fails,she will haunt the fortress on the Island of Time wich the prince will reach it later,attacking him 3 times by herslef or by an ambush with demons (servants of the empress named Keepers).
          The last time when the prince will see her will be in the Southern Passage after all to fight and defeat her in the Sacrificial Altar,protecting Kaileena,too.
You as probably why protecting? Well,after Shahdee reports that prince reached the island,she is going to fight with the empress herself,cuz she will not admit her failure!
The prince will come there soon and see what is going on,and will protect the empress from death,finishing so the business with Shahdee.

           Encounter mode - In your battle against Shahdee in the Sacrificial Altar you must also protect Kaileena from falling into the deeps,which sounds hard to you for both jobs,but you will sure find it extremly easy.
For the beginning make sure you have a weapon in your left hand (Two weapons not just the Spider Sword in right hand). After a cinematic that shows a Sandwraith on a platform from above and the two girls dueling. Then,you can rush and engage to finish the business with her! At first,she being still busy with that girl in red, will have her back exposed for some damage,so do your best with any combo you know (I suggest you to start pressing E+mouse1+E).
When she will turn to face you make sure you  keep all the times blocking with mouse 2 (Right click keep pressing) and after she will finish a deadly combo against you move along  her or fall back.
She will never return to finish the girl in red (the empress herself) if you keep her a considerable distance from you.
If you are ready to damage her again,what is very important could be avoiding her devastating BOOT KICK,that knocks you back a far distance and takes you a lot of HP. You will know when shes ready to release this move after she finishes a deadly combo wich can be blocked too. (Remeber that not every attack of you will damage the boss,sometimes she parries and you need to block after to do not receive too much from her combo and then try again another move or combo).
In rest the fight is simple.....you can use many times (Toward enemy) SPACE  + mouse1 mouse1 (left click 2 times) for Aerial Landing Slice, Mouse1+mouse1+mouse1 (Left click 3 times) when she is not hitting  you with her Dual-Weapons or (Toward enemy) SPACE + E for an aerial kick.
If you will lose your off hand weapon you can also do E + click as a powerful combo with one single weapon,BUT you will find unable to release it,and you will see why,I cannot explain right now,it is difficult to understand.
You will probably ask why I decided to include it if has no effect?
The answer - After you press E + click,jump fast (just press SPACE) and click to damage her hard while jumping (E + click + SPACE + click),but I cannot assure you will work every time .Sometimes you just jump on and miss the hit but you should try sometimes. (If you E + left click without SPACE,Shahdee will hit you at your feet slamming you down)
If you are on the ground (knocked by her) - Keep blocking with right click then when she gets close enough press E for a weak but effective leg kick that makes her fall back a considerable distance,or simply mouse1 or chain the combo Mouse1 + Mouse1 + Mouse1 so you will wake up instantly.

After Shahdee dies,the empress will be rescued by the prince and Shahdee will speak to him about the fate like the oldman from the beginning of the game. Then the girl disappears.( It says it was taken by the Vizier from the Two Thrones triology to revive her later, giving a new name - Mahasti, which is the second boss in Prince of Persia T2T)
